Gail is an AHPRA registered Clinical and Forensic Psychologist, and a Medicare Provider. She has over 20 years of experience, and works with adolescents, adults, and couples. Gail believes in a client-centered and strengths based approach that is aligned with the needs and goals of the individual.

 

She adopts a compassionate and empathic stance, and seeks to offer a respectful and safe space where clients feel empowered and supported to explore their difficulties. Gail likes to help clients become more aware of their emotions, thinking and behaviour patterns in order to find meaning, develop positive coping strategies, and enhance psychological well-being. Gail’s areas of interest include:

•          Assisting individuals with poor self-esteem

•          Working with individuals who have experienced trauma

•          Supporting individuals with grief & loss 

•          Perinatal mental health and parenting difficulties

•          Supporting individuals with employment related stress/worker’s compensation
   

Gail draws upon treatment modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Schema Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
